happy new year 2011

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

Let's making resolution! hmm...
  1. I hope in the new year, I'll find a better job for me to handle. However, I deserve a SMILE when I'm doing my job, right? Let's erase the sad face!
  2. I hope I always be surrounded by fabulous shoes & bags. I know it's not important to some people, but for me? Yeah, it's quite important. I really wanna own my very first Louboutin or Manolo. Oh how I worship them!! Jeez. Could it be? Who knows.
  3. For the record, I won't get married this year. and I won't have a baby anytime soon. Why do everybody always buzz around this? I know my relationship finally get in its 7th year, but what's wrong with that? We're still wanna having fun with our life and this relationship, and I don't want marriage ruin our happy life. In fact, I'm sooooo not ready. YET.
  4. I'll be a smarter and wiser shopaholic.
  5. I hope I can have my family back. You know, last year been a tough year for our family.
  6. I wanna be a better woman in my relationship. Dieter often called himself a bear who always entertaints me, and of course a multi-tasking man. He wanted me to express myself more. And I was like, come on, break the ice! I must admit that I'm an ice girl. I couldn't make joke, and I couldn't express things the way Dieter do. I feel bad to myself, so what can I do? This is me. But I hope this year I'll be million times better ME.
  7. I want to learn other languages. I want to be able speak French, I always think French language is very very beautiful language. And 1 more, I MUST learn Chinese. It's very important in business world nowadays.
  8. Take short courses, like make up course.
  9. Do sports routinely and do squash more often.
  10. Don't eat meat everyday. (In fact I NEVER like red meat). More vegetables & fruits. and NO junk food.
  11. I love my boyfriend, but I wanna love me more. I should have my "me time" more often.
  12. Go to church every week and pray before sleep & after wake up.
  13. More honest to myself & more open to something new. I have to be more confident with myself, and my own skin.
  14. Wanna watch more concert! I hope I can catch up again with Lady Gaga, I know her current tour is far better than the last. I was lucky enough cos I can watched her performance last year at Singapore. I hope Amy W will make a new album, and do some gigs too and I'll watch her no matter what!
  15. Facial facial facial. Once a month!
and many more to come. .

Let's make a brand new story. Have a gorgeous 2010!! Cheers..

BIDDING FAREWELL TO 2009

Hi Gorgeous!

I just wanted to say that I truly appreciate 2009. I’ve learned so much. I’ve met and connected with so many of you wonderful bloggers and folks online. Coming from a woman who ,for a time in her life, was shy and slightly introverted I must say that I have totally connected with the fact that I thrive and crave interaction with people. It’s been a hoot meeting and corresponding with so many interesting people.

I know that most people are especially reflective around this time, myself included. So here’s my drop on the things that I have gotten out of the year 2009.

WHAT DID I LEARN IN ’09?

To trust and listen to my gut/spirit/intuition.

That I am the only person who can limit myself.

That any doggone thing is always possible as long as you go ahead and take that step /leap!

That I really enjoy meeting new people.

That I really enjoy meeting people who are from a different culture/country.

Expanding the types of people I know is a great thing!

Focus is essential.

That it’s okay to ask.

I find it thrilling to run towards (and overcome) my fears.

Not to take things personal.

That it's absolutely okay that some folk just won't like you.

That I really love my kitty.

That I really love a good cocktail. Lol.

I enjoy dropping by at my daughter’s school. Really.

That it’s okay that I’m a far cry from perfect… and never will be.

Mistakes are inevitable. Learn from them. Get over them. And move on.

There’s a vast difference between being religious and spiritual. And I choose the latter all day, every day.

Being mentally “free” is so frickin’ awesome!

That I am not responsible for everything.

That I cannot change the fact that some people will always choose to live in the role of “the victim”.

That I had not let go of some things.

That it's time to let go of some things.

Forgiving is absolutely necessary to be whole, healthy, happy and free.

That I am only in competition with myself.

I really enjoy & love yoga!

I really enjoy belly dancing!

I really enjoy a vigorous and challenging workout.

I really enjoy variety in my workout. =)

I'm still lovin' my chemical-free hair!

There is a peace like no other in being content with what I have.

To accept the things that I cannot change.

That it is so okay and often times liberating to say “No”.

That everything works out as it should.

That I am blessed and fortunate to have meet and meet so many wonderful people in this blogosphere.

What did you learn in 2009?.....

Let’s do it in 2010!

Peace and blessings to all!

all dressed in love

I kinda hooked up with this Jennifer Hudson's song All Dressed in Love.
Actually it was a OST Sex and The City movie. So the song told about we can cover ourselves wiv clothes, shoes, etc.. Even we can cover our pain with MAC make up (which is very true, and I've been through this). But thats all FAKE. We CAN'T cover our pain to ourselves. The point of the song is what if we can wear what we feel?

When you can wear what you feel
what do you wanna say?
Now love is a little number
that you can wear each day

As long as you let me be the accessorry
Simply send me on my way
Style of love
I look good in love

When it's been out of sight and out of mind for such a long time
That's how one forgets
So I reached in the back of my closet and pulled it out
And tried it on and it still fits

So I covered the pain up with lots of MAC make-up
But I can't help but blush
Because I'm in love
All dressed up in love

Cool in the summer, warm in the winter
I'm all dressed up in love
I'm cool in the summer, warm in the winter
Cuz I'm in love
All dressed up in love

People are looking, yeah, some even staring
I don't know it when they ask me what I'm wearing
This or that its made for any weather
my friend and i sit down and we both make it together

Now if you really want one of your own
I hope your shoes are made for walking
Cuz I found love
and you must find love

Cool in the summer, warm in the winter
I'm all dressed up in love
I'm cool in the summer, warm in the winter (I'm so warm)
Cuz I'm in love
All dressed up in love

Cuz I found love
And you must find love

The song really taught me something. And I really love how Jen Hudson brought it. Lovely thought just before NYE. Who cares about Labels? All we have to do is finding Love.

by the way.....

Another fresh new year is here, another year to live! To banish worry, doubt, and fear, to love, laugh, and to give! HAPPY NEW YEAR 2010!

Short bob and short shag haircuts for 2010

Short Hairstyles Trends presents Short bob and short shag haircuts for 2010

Winter is very cold and dry and one of the things people usually consider during winter is having their hair cut to adapt to the cold winter days.Below are some of the short winter hairstyles that have consistently been fashionable.

Short shag hairstyles
This hairstyle cuts your hair short at the back while creating an angle out your face. With its longer strands on the front, this is best for square and round-shaped faces and not flattering for oval faces.

Short bob

Your hair is cut to chin-length all around from the front to the back. You may also opt to sport bangs or not. This short winter hairstyle looks great on all face shapes except the round types.

Last Monday on 2009

2009 will end within 4 days. Wow!
How time flies so fast? Its like yesterday I was celebrating NYE wiv dieter's fam.

I tend to hate every Monday. But this Monday? I have to give it a little appreciation since I can't repeat all other Mondays on 2009. LoL.

Everyone, every year, has grown up to be a better person. (At least people who close to my heart). I can see clearly, the difference every year make. But I personally, don't feel the "difference" in myself. I stand still in my place. Everybody's changing, and I don't feel it.

The big thing about 2009 was I start working. And earn money by myself. But I can't tell it was a significant thing in my life. Everyone has their job and began to raised the "bar". Contrary with me, I got the job, and it pulled me down. I don't know how many posts in the future will I write about my current job. I just don't suit to this job. I'm not a technical woman, I'm not familiar with textile machines, it's just not soooo me. However I'll stick to it 'till I get something else that interest me. Please be reminded that I'm NOT an ungrateful woman. I just want doing the right thing, without this burden.
I hope next year I can re-build my online business and make it bigger!

I have so many dreams that can't be achieve with only the blink of an eye. But I have to pay it with my sweat & blood. I know this is a big joke for some people, and a girl like me, but hey, I still want a Birkin. LOL.
I still think that buy "timeless" fashion items are investment. For the record, "investment" in fashion is totally different with the real meaning of investment if you read in dictionary.

Something that considered fashion investment is item that timeless. Like Chanel bags, you'll never get bored. Always great for every occasion and all eyes on you. Birkin too. Even there's a paraphrase "honey, it's not a bag, it's a Birkin". Look how beautiful & magnificent it is!

Shit, this isn't suppose to be in my "last monday" post. But I'm just writing what spin in my head right now. Fashion becomes obsession. I stopped by at Louboutin's store at Plaza Indonesia. My blood was running cold after I try them AND saw the tag price. 1 pair of Louboutin cost 15mill IDR (US$ 1500) at the lowest. Even I saw this gorgeous ankle boots with irritating price US$ 4900. It just made me want to vomit.

Now I can only dreamin them. But one day, who knows? :p

WHY YOU NEED A VISION BOARD IN YOUR LIFE

Some days ago, I had the pleasure of interviewing Shelley Chapman of NaturiBeauty. She has a wonderful energy about her and shared many great things. During our conversation, she made mention of her Vision Board. I was definitely intrigued and asked her about it. Some days later, I saw that there was an article on CrazySexyLife about the very same thing—Vision Boards.

This was more than enough confirmation that I needed to dust off my put-away “dream book” and focus on creating my very own vision board. And how perfect is it the week of the New Year for all you folks who are into making New Year’s Resolution. How about we try something a little different this year and commit to our vision boards.

WHAT IS A VISION BOARD?

A vision board (also known as a Treasure Map, Manifestation Poster, Visual Explorer, Dream Board or Creativity Collage) is typically a poster board on which you paste or collage images that you’ve torn out from various magazines. It is simply a tool to help you manifest your desires.
The idea behind having a board is that when you surround yourself with images of who you want to become, what you want to have, where you want to live, or where you want to vacation, your life changes to match those images and those desires.

My-Success-Guru had this to say about Vision Boards:
Most people think that just by looking at pictures it's going to manifest their dreams but it doesn't work that way. Instead the whole idea is to recondition your brain to believe those pictures are already reality. Anytime you focus on exactly what you want you are actually sending out a signal to the quantum field or intelligence as it's known. And your thoughts are the most powerful form of energy in the universe. So when we focus on something we are sending out that signal and when we apply one of the other great laws called Goya which stands for (get off your a_ _!) we have another law to move us towards what we want while the universe and our brain figure out how to accomplish our dreams. A great deal of research in the United states especially at the Heart Math Institute has demonstrated" when we get emotionally involved in an idea our heart emits a frequency that can be measured and actually seen that is 60 to 80 times more powerful than the frequency that your brain emits by having thoughts. So when you match up the brain frequency with the heart frequency it's a much more duplicatible process that anybody can apply in order to really start achieving their dreams and goals.

WHAT YOU NEED TO MAKE YOUR OWN
Poster board (or another similar type of canvas)
All types of magazines to get pictures out of
Rubber cement
Some type easel, music stand or something to rest your board on where you can see it

HOW TO BEGIN MAKING YOUR VISION BOARD
A suggested method is to sit quietly and set your intent before beginning your board. Ask yourself what you want. Take a moment and be with the images that come into your head. This can give way to opportunity for the ego to step aside which can make it clearer to create your vision. Shelly (NaturiBeauty) recommended not thinking too hard about it and allowing it flow.

Here are some recommendations from Christine Kane on how to make your vision board.

FIVE STEPS TO CREATING YOUR VISION BOARD:

Step 1: Go through your magazines and tear the images from them. No gluing yet! Just let yourself have lots of fun looking through magazines and pulling out pictures or words or headlines that strike your fancy. Have fun with it. Make a big pile of images and phrases and words.

Step 2: Go through the images and begin to lay your favorites on the board. Eliminate any images that no longer feel right. This step is where your intuition comes in. As you lay the pictures on the board, you’ll get a sense how the board should be laid out. For instance, you might assign a theme to each corner of the board. Health, Job, Spirituality, Relationships, for instance. Or it may just be that the images want to go all over the place. Or you might want to fold the board into a book that tells a story. At my retreats, I’ve seen women come up with wildly creative ways to present a vision board.

Step 3: Glue everything onto the board. Add writing if you want. You can paint on it, or write words with markers.

Step 4: (optional, but powerful) Leave space in the very center of the vision board for a fantastic photo of yourself where you look radiant and happy. Paste yourself in the center of your board.

Step 5: Hang your vision board in a place where you will see it often.

According to Christine, there are three types of vision boards you can make.
1 - The “I Know Exactly What I Want” Vision Board
Do this vision board if:
- You’re very clear about your desires.
- You want to change your environment or surroundings.
- There is a specific thing you want to manifest in your life. (i.e. a new home, or starting a business.)
How to create this vision board:
With your clear desire in mind, set out looking for the exact pictures which portray your vision. If you want a house by the water, then get out the Dwell magazine and start there. If you want to start your own business, find images that capture that idea for you. If you want to learn guitar, then find that picture. I remember at the last retreat, one woman yelled out, “If anyone finds a picture of a little girl with red hair who looks happy, give it to me!” And someone else yelled out, “I’m looking for a Cadillac!” Pretty soon, a lively trading session began. Following the five steps above, create your vision board out of these images.

2 – The “Opening and Allowing” Vision Board
Do this vision board if:
- You’re not sure what exactly you want
- You’ve been in a period of depression or grief
- You have a vision of what you want, but are uncertain about it in some way.
- You know you want change but don’t know how it’s possible.
How to create this vision board:
Go through each magazine. Tear out images that delight you. Don’t ask why. Just keep going through the magazines. If it’s a picture of a teddy bear that makes you smile, then pull it out. If it’s a cottage in a misty countryside, then rip it out. Just have fun and be open to whatever calls to you. Then, as you go through Step 2 above, hold that same openness, but ask yourself what this picture might mean. What is it telling you about you? Does it mean you need to take more naps? Does it mean you want to get a dog, or stop hanging out with a particular person who drains you? Most likely you’ll know the answer. If you don’t, but you still love the image, then put it on your vision board anyway. It will have an answer for you soon enough. Some women at my retreats had NO idea what their board was about, and it wasn’t until two months later that they understood. The Opening and Allowing Vision Board can be a powerful guide for you. I like it better than the first model because sometimes our egos think they know what we want, and lots of times those desires aren’t in alignment with who we really are. This goes deeper than just getting what you want. It can speak to you and teach you a little bit about yourself and your passion.

3 – The “Theme” Vision Board
Do this vision board if:
- It’s your birthday or New Years Eve or some significant event that starts a new cycle.
- If you are working with one particular area of your life. For instance, Work & Career.
How to create this vision board:
The only difference between this vision board and the others is that this one has clear parameters and intent. Before you begin the vision board, take a moment to hold the intent and the theme in mind. When you choose pictures, they will be in alignment with the theme. You can do the Theme Vision Board on smaller pages, like a page in your journal.

WHERE TO PLACE YOUR VISION BOARD

Put it somewhere that you often look at like above your waste basket, behind your telephone or monitor, next to your mirror, etc. You get the point. It should be in a place where you will look at it daily. Or set it on a stand/easel in a place that you will always look or damn near stumble over.

Some things to remember about vision boards:
- You can use a combination of all three types of vision boards as you create. Sometimes you might start out doing one kind, and then your intuition takes over and shifts into a whole different mode. That’s called creativity. Just roll with it.
- Your vision board might change as you are making it. I was just talking with a friend of mine who said that she had been making a vision board for the new year. The theme was all about what she wanted in this year. Then, as she pulled pictures and began to lay them out, the theme changed into a simpler one about her everyday life and the moments in each day. It surprised and delighted her to experience that evolution. You might find that you have little epiphanies from making a vision board.
